Aims and scope

The Journal of Korean Tunnelling and Underground Space Association is the official publication of the Korean Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (KTA). The journal publishes authoritative articles encompassing the results of high quality research and case histories applying innovative methods for cost- saving and improving safety in tunnelling technology and underground space development safety.

Year of Launching and Frequency

It was launched in 1999. It is published bimonthly in January, March, May, July, September, and November each year. Supplementary numbers are at times published. All of the manuscripts are peer-reviewed.

ISO Abbreviation of Journal Title

The official title of the journal is ‘Journal of Korean Tunnelling and Underground Space Association’ and the abbreviated title is ‘J. of Korean Tunn Undergr Sp. Assoc.

The total or a part of the articles in this journal are indexed in KISTI and CERIC.

This journal has been one of the KCI Accredited Journals since 2006 and Indexed in the Korea Citation Index (KCI).
